Yeah, we got there after the fact. We would shuttle to the LZ and back everyday from Ton San Nhut on a C-123. Had to stay one night at the LZ due to another crash landing of our recovery aircraft. As mentioned earlier, we were TDY from Tachikawa and the 346th TAS,Dyess AFB, Texas. Thanks for the info.

The place was called Tonlecham. There was an E-model lost there in early 
1969 to mortar fire.
